Hello friends! You must have often heard tit-bits about great authors and what they perceived made them write well. Many great writers thought that different things were their lucky quotient ( just like we all do at times!) but something really easy and fascinating of all of them were the thoughts of Charles Dickens, the renowned author.
Did you know that Charles Dickens slept facing North? And the sole reason for this was that he thought it improved his writing ability! Now...now...I hear you all asking "Why have I been slogging with a pen and paper then??" But its not so...They say success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration!
Just the same way, continue writing but also try this idea along with it. Who knows when your lucky star may shine??

If an author thinks it will inspire, it probably will. I often read a scene I'm working on before turning off the lights because I know the characters will play through my thoughts through the night. I'm often amazed at what they are doing by the time I sit to write in the morning.

Cool Theme... In reality, the magnetic field of the Earth messes up with your brain's iron content (very esential for creative thinking) and leads to a deficient in memory skills. But I'm not educated on the fact regarding one's writing skills... So I am not sure if sleeping facing north would help or not.
But definitely some simple so called lucky quotients in general motivates one's work force...

Very thoughtful by a fourteen year old. She is a writer, a poet and a budding blogger... starting at this young age will get you to the top as you grow up.
I shall say you are ahead of your generation in terms of technology.
Best of luck with life.

Hi Calder,
Yes, as you rightly said, for a peaceful, effective mind, sufficient sleep is a must and it's immaterial where you face!
